Adriana Barbosa was born into a humble matriarchal family and, since she was young, dreamed of creating conditions to strengthen entrepreneurship in the periphery, but faced the lack of opportunities, racial prejudice and lack of knowledge about the corporate world to make the business work and become a become one of the 51 most influential black personalities in the world. In 2002, he founded Feira Preta, which soon became known as one of the biggest events of black culture in Latin America. The fair toured more than 8 Brazilian states, bringing together around 170 thousand people, more than 700 exhibitors and moving around R$5.5 million. More than 1 million people attended the digital event. In 2019, Adriana inaugurated a PretaHub - accelerator of black entrepreneurship in Brazil - as a consolidation of all these years of activity.
